We have 3 luxurious, romatic chalets and 1 special Honeymoon chalet that cater for 2 adults each. Enjoy the spectacular view from the comfort of your bed or sip your sherry while lying in your leather recliner listening to the soothing sound of the majestic Umzimkulu River rushing down the gorge or relax and sip champagne in your double spa bath while the birdlife and peaceful surroundings sooth your stresses away. The outside shower is for the really brave at heart - be at one with nature!
The Chalets would be accurately described as a honeymoon
suite arranged for 2 adults. Whether you lie on your bed
or sip sherry from your leather recliner or enjoy a glas
of champagne in the double spa bath the view will sooth
all your stresses away. The outside open air shower on the
deck is a definite must !

The cost for the 3 luxurious chalets is R500 per person per night (R1 000 per couple), this includes a full english breakfast on the Coffee Shop Deck, there is a bottel of JC LeRoux Champagne, a decanter Sherry, Filter Coffee, Nescfe Coffee, Sugar, Milk, Milo, Tea, Rooibos Tea, Homemade Biscuits, olive oil, salt, pepper, braaispices, saladdressing, butters, ice, jam, tomatosuace. We also supply bathsalt, soap, handcream.
We service the chalet at 09h30 every morning and there is a Lapa to braai with charcoal and firelighters supplied.
The Mid-Week special rate : 3 luxurious chalets Minimum of 1 nights between Monday and Thursday out of school holidays - R350 (R700 per couple) per couple per night inclusive of all of the above.
The 1 Honeymoon chalet is R600 (R1 200 per couple) per person per night inclusive of all of the above.
The Mid- Week special rate : 1 Honeymoon chalet Minimum of 1 nights between Monday and Thursday out of school holidays - R450 (R900 per couple) per couple per night inclusive of all of the above.
Please note that the chalets is designed for 2 adults only – NO CHILDREN OR PETS ALLOWED and also no smoking inside the chalet.
Methods of Payment
EFT or cash deposit directly into our bank account.
Check-In Time :Your chalet will be refreshed and ready at 13h00. Please note that our
gate is locked at 16h00, if you will be arriving later than 16h00 please phone Sue on her cell 083 26 55 261, the same applies for Monday and Tuesdays (as the gate is locked) when the shop is closed.
Check-Out Time : You are requested to vacate your chalet by 10h00 as our housekeeper need to prepare the chalet for incoming guests.
Cancellation Policy
Should you cancel your booking, deposit refunds will be paid out as follows :
1 to 2 months notice : Full Refund
2 weeks to 1 month : 50%
Less than 2 weeks : No Refund
The Coffee Shop is fully licensed and you can purchase beers, champagne, tinned cold drinks and bottled water.
The Coffee Shop is open Wednesday to Sunday from 09h00 to 16h00 – although food is only served until 15h30. The Coffee Shop will be closed every Monday and Tuesday right through the year.
We can supply dinner (Wednesday to Sunday nights) in the form of Spinach & Feta or Bacon & Mushroom Quiche or Beef Lasagne or Chicken Schnitzel and salad or baked potato & mushroom sauce, Lamb Curry & Rice, Cold Meat Platter. Just order from the kitchen by 15h00.

We also cater for private functions – weddings, birthday’s etc. On these occasions we close the shop to the public and you have a completely private venue.
